Eligibility Working professional with min 2 to 3 yrs of experience - Civil engineer / Architect; & Diploma civil with 3 yr. exp., Faculty from Civil.
Prerequisite Basic knowledge of site execution, specifications and tender notices
Type a) Weekly - 2 hrs daily x 12 days;
b) Sunday - 6 hrs x 4 Sundays

  • Day 1 / 2 hr - Types of Tenders and structure of Tenders. Tender Notice.
  • Day 2 / 2 hr - Project preparation and planning proficiencyStudy of Tender documents, General & Special Conditions
  • Day 3 / 2 hr - Tender Specifications, Drawings , BoQ
  • Day 4 / 2 hr - Preparation of Tender Documents
  • Day 5 / 2 hr - Preparation of Bid: Site investigation, Working of direct and indirect costs
  • Day 6 / 3 hr - Rate analysis as per BoQ and specifications, Review and Test
  • Day 7 / 2 hr - The Bid process: Invitation to bidders, Pre-qualification process, Pre-bid conference
  • Day 8 / 2 hr - Bid submission, opening of Bids, Bid evaluation, Award of contract
  • Day 9 / 2 hr - Post Award Activities: Kick off meeting at HO, Mobilisation Plan, Approval of Contract Schedule, Budget, Project Cash flow, Financial aspects of contract
  • Day 10 / 2 hr - Legal aspects of Contract: Indian Contracts Act, Arbitration
  • Day 11 / 2 hr - FIDIC contract Document, Contractual letter writing
  • Day 12 / 2 hr - Contracts Management: Role of Contracts Manager, Claims Management, EOT claims, Extra Items, Escalation claims, Variation in scope
  • Day 13 - Certification
  • Note - Test in MCQ format is taken - 1st after completion of 12 hrs course and 2nd at the end.
Attendance criteria 90% and above to get qualifying certificate
Tests Yes, need to score 75% + aggregate in mid term and final tests to get qualifying certificate
